Learning Outcomes
After completing Class 2 you should…
- be able to balance a chemical reaction and state the values of the stoichiometric coefficients it contains, including their sign
- be able to identify limiting reactants
- be able to write expressions for the heat of reaction
- know and be able to use different measures of composition and reaction progress
- be able to use the extent of reaction to describe the composition of a reacting system
